Sun Fun Classic Tournament
Karate World is excited to present our yearly tournament — the Sun Fun Classic!
📅 Saturday, February 7, 2026
📍 Location: Murrells Inlet Community Center
We encourage all students to participate and showcase their skills in this fun and competitive event. Students will be receiving registration flyers in class. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Zeke or Ms. Paige for details. Let’s make this year’s tournament a success — we can’t wait to see everyone there!
Sun Fun Classic Sponsorships:
We are looking for local businesses to sponsor our tournament.
• Cost: $125
• Business logo featured on the back of the tournament T-shirt
• 1-hour self-defense seminar for your staff
• Students who bring in a sponsorship will receive a $25 Visa gift card

Sun Fun Prep Seminars
Come join us for our tournament prep seminars to get ready for Sun Fun Classic.
📅 Saturday, January 24, 2026
💲 $25 per hour or $60 for all 3 hours
• 11:30–12:30 Weapons
• 12:30–1:30 Forms
• 1:30–2:30 Sparring

Women Empowered Seminar
This FREE 2-hour seminar is designed specifically for women and focuses on real-world situations.

• How to control an attacker from the ground
• Escapes from common holds and pins

Everything is taught in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. No prior training required — all body types and fitness levels welcome.
Valentine’s Day Cards
This Valentine’s Day, we’re excited to provide free Valentine cards for kids to share with their classmates or friends.
• No cost to parents
• Cards must be pre-ordered to ensure we have enough for everyone
• Please see the front desk by January 30th with the number of cards your student needs

Parents Train for FREE – January Special
We’re kicking off the new year with a special invitation for parents to train FREE during the month of January!
Classes available:
• Adult Karate: Tuesdays / Thursdays 7:20–8:00 PM
• BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu): Tuesdays / Thursdays 8:00–9:00 PM

For all upgrade programs (BBC & TE), the weapon for Quarter 1 (January–March) of 2026 will be the Kamas.

How to Download the Spark Member App:
- Click here for the app on Google Play Store (Android) or Click here for the app in the Apple App Store (iPhone), or you can search for “Spark Member” in the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
- Download the app and follow the prompts to set it up. When prompted, use our Studio Code: 4660.
- Log in using the email associated with your account. If needed, click “Send Password Again” to receive an activation email.
- Retrieve your temporary password, log in, and you are all set!

Update About Electronic Payments
Our payment processor, Spark, will apply a small processing fee to all electronic transactions (credit and debit cards). This fee goes directly to Spark, not Karate World. If you’d like to avoid the fee, you’re welcome to pay by cash or check. Thank you for your continued support!
Cancelation Policy: 📢 Important Tuition Policy Reminder:
To stop automatic withdrawals for tuition, a 30-day written notice is required.
How to Cancel:
- Send an email to: karateworldssb@gmail.com.
- Confirmation Required: Please ensure you receive a confirmation email from us to complete the cancellation process.
- Note: No refunds will be issued after an account has been drafted.
