Karate World will be closed on Wednesday, August 13th for Horry County’s elementary school Open House. Our staff looks forward to seeing you there and cheering on our students as they start the new school year!
Saturday, August 16, 2025 – Parents Night Out: Ninja Night Buddy Back 2 School Bash
Saturday, August 16 | 5:00–9:00 PM | $35 per child (Buddy is FREE!)
We’re kicking off the school year with an epic Ninja Night and a party like no other! Bring an extra black t-shirt so we can do a fun ninja mask, bring your bestie (a non-Karate World student), and get ready for action-packed games, throwing ninja stars, pizza, and back-to-school fun. One paid student = one buddy FREE — don’t miss it!
Saturday, August 23, 2025 – Children’s Recovery Center 11th Annual 5K Run
1-Mile Walk/Run at 7:30 AM | 5K at 8:00 AM
Join us for the 11th Annual 5K Run for the Kids, benefiting the Children’s Recovery Center — a local non-profit supporting children and families in Horry and Georgetown Counties. This family-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages. All proceeds go toward helping local children receive care, support, and advocacy.

It’s time to wrap up our Summer Fitness Challenge with an awesome beach workout! Wear your Karate World shirt and shorts, and get ready to sweat, smile, and celebrate. Please bring a towel, sunscreen, and water!
Meet at Karate World by 7:45 AM to walk down with staff OR Meet us at Garden City Pier beach access at 8:00 AM
Be sure your challenge cards are completed and all tickets received before August 30 — we’ll draw for prizes right after the workout!

How to Download the Spark Member App:
- Click here for the app on Google Play Store (Android) or Click here for the app in the Apple App Store (iPhone), or you can search for “Spark Member” in the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
- Download the app and follow the prompts to set it up. When prompted, use our Studio Code: 4660.
- Log in using the email associated with your account. If needed, click “Send Password Again” to receive an activation email.
- Retrieve your temporary password, log in, and you are all set!

Update About Electronic Payments
Our payment processor, Spark, will apply a small processing fee to all electronic transactions (credit and debit cards). This fee goes directly to Spark, not Karate World. If you’d like to avoid the fee, you’re welcome to pay by cash or check. Thank you for your continued support!
Cancelation Policy: 📢 Important Tuition Policy Reminder:
To stop automatic withdrawals for tuition, a 30-day written notice is required.
How to Cancel:
- Send an email to: karateworldssb@gmail.com.
- Confirmation Required: Please ensure you receive a confirmation email from us to complete the cancellation process.
- Note: No refunds will be issued after an account has been drafted.
